Talk on Green Architecture and Concepts of Sustainable Practice of HK Wetland Park

A talk on "Green Architecture and Concepts of Sustainable Practice of Hong Kong Wetland Park" was held during the class period on 3rd May 2010. Miss Lee Ming Wai of the Hong Kong Wetland Park first gave a brief history and the outline of the Park. She then described how green concepts were embedded in the architectural design, including geothermal heat pump air-conditioning, renewable energy, natural lighting/ ventilation and ramp access to safe electricity, collection and reduced consumption of freshwater, reusing, recycling and wise use of materials etc.
