Maths Seminar

Professor Cheng Shiu-Yuen, Dean of Science of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, had kindly accepted the invitation from the Mathematics Society of the School to conduct a seminar for the S4 and S6 science students on the topic of data security. The title of the seminar was “Diffie–Hellman Key Exchange Scheme”.

 

Professor Cheng had used an interactive approach and lots of examples to explain the difficult concepts of data security. The students were attentive during the talk and they found the seminar both interesting and inspiring.
