The China Merchants Youth Association for organizing the 100th session of the "Hong Kong Youth 1872 Salon"

We extend our gratitude to the China Merchants Youth Association for organizing the 100th session of the “Hong Kong Youth 1872 Salon” on Sunday, February 1, with the theme “Hearts Connected to the Homeland, Winning the Future.”

During the event, the Chinese orchestra of The Chinese Foundation Secondary School performed Step by Step and Thunder in Drought, promoting and interpreting Chinese culture through music. Additionally, student Tang Ching Wang led a joint-school choir in a moving rendition of My Motherland and I. Student Wang Yan Tung also shared the stage with calligraphers and painters, demonstrating live brushwork and artistic expression.

Students from The Chinese Foundation Secondary School were also recognized with awards at the event. Ma Yun received the Hong Kong Youth 1872 Salon Outstanding Participation Award, while Chu Ho Wang was honored with the distinction of Outstanding Student of the 1872 Hong Kong Young Writers’ Class. Principal Ho Tik Shun also served as a guest speaker for the salon lecture series, delivering a talk titled The Mystery of Dual "Encounter" Reproduction on January 25.

Once again, we thank China Merchants for providing young people with diverse learning opportunities that help them strengthen their ideals, broaden their horizons, enrich their knowledge, and gain nourishment—gathering the vibrant energy of youth as they grow and thrive.
