CFSS Student wins an Award of Merit in the Pixel CAP Hong Kong & Macau Inter-school Digital Art Photography Competition
Our student, Chan Hoi Chi, achieved outstanding results in the Pixel CAP Inter-school Digital Art Competition, winning an Award of Merit in the Photography Category with his work titled “映治然”. This achievement fully demonstrates the creative strength and artistic capability of our students in the field of digital arts.
The Pixel CAP Inter-school Digital Art Competition attracted participants from numerous schools across Hong Kong and Macao, making the competition highly competitive. Chan Hoi Chi’s award-winning work, “Reflections of Nature and Self”, is themed “Technology × Nature: A Symphony of the Future.” Through a calm and multi-layered visual composition, the photograph presents a harmonious relationship between humanity, nature, and technology.
The title “映治然” is rich in meaning. The character “映” symbolizes both visual reflection and illumination, while “然” represents authenticity and the natural state of being. The title also incorporates a reference to the artist’s own name, “治,” symbolizing that the creation is inspired by nature while simultaneously reflecting the artist’s inner world. This meaningful title resonates strongly with the artistic conception of the work and demonstrates the student’s depth of thought in artistic expression.
This award not only affirms Chan Hoi Chi’s achievement in photographic art, but also reflects his passion for digital arts and his continuous spirit of exploration and learning. He also received prize money and awards totaling approximately HKD 4,000. In addition, his winning work will be exhibited at Tai Kwun in Central, providing him with a valuable platform for public exhibition.
