專題研習簡報會

專題研習簡報會已在3月19日於學校禮堂舉行。當天中二級25個專題研習組中最佳表現的十組進行角力。全體中一、中二班學生和有關老師亦出席了是次簡報會。簡報題目從太陽能電池,到薑汁撞奶的科學調查;從廢物回收到打小人的社會議題,林林總總,十分豐富。總的來說,報告同學表現生動,富創造性,並準備周詳。評判對學生的簡報技巧尤其印象深刻,於是最佳報告員的獎項,由原定的五個名額,增加至十人。

  • Hall Presentation was the climax of the PBL programme.

  • Chan Wai Ying and Tin Ka Chung of S.2C were the MC’s of the event.

  • Role-playing was a common element of all presentations, such as the show by group 2C1 on “Why many secondary students need to wear glasses and suggestion for choosing glasses”.

  • “To investigate how the weight of students’ school bag affects their health”, 2B3 students obtained professional advice from experts.

  • Demonstration was an indispensable part of all experiment-oriented projects such as the one by 2D1 on “How consumers choose sunscreen and its relationship with the sun blocking effect”.

  • After presenting their project, “A study on solar cells: Si-based solar cell and dye sensitized solar cell”, Group 2D3 had to respond the queries from the adjudicators.

  • The Adjudicator Panel had a hard time to make fair and balanced decisions.

  • Our Principal, Mr. Chow gave his comments and recommendations after the presentation and announced the results.

  • Group 2C4 gave an excellent answer to “How to choose the best eraser?” and got the overall champion.

  • 2A3 members congratulated themselves for winning the first runner-up, the Best cooperation and the Best PowerPoint for their Project, “What do Hong Kong people think of traditional voodoo of villain hitting?”

  • Group 2A1 won the second runner-up and the best PowerPoint for their project, “The factors affecting people when choosing their mobile phones”. Poon Kei Tong (middle) of the group was awarded one of the best presenters.

  • Tsui Sin Chi Niki 2B5 was awarded the best presenter for her part in “An investigation into the coagulation of ginger milk curd of different milk types”.

  • Group 2A4 students Yi Yan and To Tin Yu were the other two best presenters for their project “To what extent do students of Hong Kong participate in recycling programmes?”

  • Wan Yat Fu (1st to the left), Ng Wing Yu (2nd to the left) and Cheng Lok Chun (rightmost) of 2A5 were three of the best ten for their roles in “The reasons why famous-brand bags are popular among secondary students”.

  • Ho Pui Shuen (to the right) and Wong Sze Cheuk (to the left) of 2A3 were two of the best presenters.

  • The adjudicators were impressed by the presentation skills of the students so that ten students were awarded “the Best Presenters” instead of five. Tse Hiu Laam of 2A4 was one of those.
