本校在教育局智慧城市專題研習計劃2018/19中獲傑出智慧城市專題研習獎 (高中組) 及優秀智慧城市專題研習獎 (初中組)

本校初中及高中隊伍參加了智慧城市專題研習計劃2018/19。此計劃旨於讓學生設計產品以實踐香港智慧城市概念。 高中組研發了「AITrash」。它是一個運用物聯網、大數據及人工智能協助塑膠分類的裝置。他們也研發了一流動應用程式讓用家查閱塑膠回收紀錄和換領獎賞。高中組於是次比賽獲「傑出智慧城市專題研習獎」(相等於冠軍)，並獲邀代表香港於八月參加東京交流團。 初中組研發了物聯網省水裝置「i-water meter」。用戶可透過流動應用程式查閱用水量。他們在是次比賽獲「優秀智慧城市專題研習獎」(相等於亞軍)，並獲邀參加 STEM 暑期夏令營。
