Enjoying Poon Choi with our Alumni
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year, good health, may all your wishes come true, be as nimble as a snake, and may the Lord's grace always be with you! February 8, Sat, marked the 11th day of the Lunar New Year. The school invited a group of alumni who graduated in 2013 to return for a reunion, where they received red packets and enjoyed a meal together, reminiscing about precious memories from their school days and sharing stories. We are very happy to hear that everyone is living fulfilling lives, continually striving for their goals and ideals. Some have just started new jobs, some have recently got married, and some have welcomed new children into their families. The teachers are grateful for everyone stepping into a new chapter of life.
After dinner, everyone naturally wanted to tour the campus, as it had been many years since graduation, and it’s not easy to participate in Open Days every year. Plus, a night tour of the campus offers a different experience. We explored the renovated rooftop Astronomy Hall, the Science & Sustainable Development Resource Center, the sixth-floor Smart Counseling Room, the China Resource Center, the Advanced Material Research Center, and the newly completed Chinese Culture Classroom on the third floor. Everyone was happy for the current students, as the teaching resources are incredibly rich. They hope the current students can be grateful and cherish everything! Besides these special learning spaces, alumni certainly had to visit the "forbidden areas" for students — the Staffrooms, Staff Pantry and Washrooms!
This event was arranged rather spontaneously, and we are thankful to have Assistant Principal Mr. Ho Chun Man and Assistant Principal Ms. Leung Yue Shan Jennifer for their last-minute assistance. We believe that we can invite more
alumni, teachers, and former colleagues to participate next time. We look forward to seeing more alumni from different graduating classes come back to gather, not just during Open Days or other major school celebrations. Feel free to contact the teachers; you’re always welcome to come back. CFSS is our home, and as long as it’s convenient for everyone, the alma mater warmly welcomes you to "hold gatherings," make good use of campus facilities, play some games, and have big meals together!
As CFSS celebrates its 25th anniversary, the Alumni Association will soon be officially established, and we look forward to bringing everyone more information about the alumni association soon!
