Cancer Biology Workshop in HKBU
On April 26, 2025, the Cancer Biology Workshop was launched for 23 CFSS students at HKBU, led by Dr. Yue Patrick Ying Kit, Associate Director of the BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology program. The workshop offered an overview of fundamental cancer biology concepts, including the characteristics of cancer cells and the processes of cancer growth and development. Students also engaged in practical sessions to explore the effects of anti-cancer drugs. The workshop aims to foster students' interest in biomedical studies as a potential career path.
