Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician Team Mentorship Program
The "Scientific Innovation Award" (科行創新獎) was established by the Beijing CAS Science and Education Development Foundation to serve the national strategy of cultivating top-tier innovative talents. It leverages the resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and its academician teams to systematically nurture outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in the China Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest.
Our 5A student, Ge Tanliang, was awarded the Scientific Innovation Award Young Observer - Chemistry Discipline of the 2025 Scientific Innovation Award and has been selected for the CAS Academician Team Mentorship Program.
As part of the cultivation plan, the organizing committee held an Academician Meetup on 19 September 2025, at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. This event serves as a crucial starting point of the mentorship cycle, aiming to help students establish connections with their assigned academician teams, clarify their research directions, tour laboratories, and receive training in scientific research standards.
