Students awarded First and Third Class Honours in The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2026 Hong Kong Screening
The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2026 Hong Kong Screening, jointly organized by the Education Bureau (EDB), the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE), and the Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education (HKASME), aims to identify and nurture scientifically talented junior secondary students through advanced science training. S.3 Cheng Tianyou and S.2 Cao Zihao were awarded First and Third Class Honours, respectively. Additionally, Tianyou was invited to participate in a series of post-competition training sessions. Outstanding performance in these programs may earn students the opportunity to represent Hong Kong at the 23rd International Junior Science Olympiad in December 2026. The prize presentation ceremony was held on 19th November 2025.
