Chongqing Education Tour 2026
The school would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government and all relevant departments for their meticulous planning of this Chongqing Education Tour from 1 Mar to 4 Mar 2026. This experience has provided us with valuable insights into Chongqing's remarkable achievements and practical experiences in areas such as historical and cultural preservation, urban planning and development, and technological innovation. These insights will serve as important inspiration for us as we continue to deepen our school-based innovation and technology education and refine our approaches to talent cultivation.
The Chinese Foundation Secondary School has always been guided by its educational philosophy of "Rooted in China, Connected to Our Country; Revitalizing the Nation through Science and Education." We are dedicated to nurturing a new generation of young people equipped with a strong sense of national identity, a global perspective, and innovative capabilities. We place great emphasis on holistic development, balancing the cultivation of humanistic qualities with the advancement of science and technology education. We actively promote STREAM education—an interdisciplinary learning model integrating Science, Technology, Reading and Writing, Engineering and Robotics, Arts and Design, and Mathematics. In addition, we offer courses on artificial intelligence applications and aerospace science popularization. Through these initiatives, we aim to help students understand our nation’s developmental achievements while fostering their spirit of inquiry and innovative thinking, preparing them for future contributions to technological advancement.
During the tour, we visited Chongqing Bashu Secondary School and had the valuable opportunity to engage in dialogue with the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government. These positive exchanges have deepened our understanding of youth development strategies and allowed us to witness firsthand the vitality and innovation embedded in the educational philosophies and practices on the mainland.
We also visited Sevnce Robotics Co. Ltd and Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co., Ltd., where we observed the real-world operations and industrial practices of innovative enterprises. Being on the front lines of these companies allowed us to experience the momentum of technological transformation and industrial upgrading firsthand. This experience will greatly inform our thinking on how to integrate the latest national development achievements and emerging trends into our curriculum design and students' career planning, ensuring that our education remains closely aligned with the pulse of the times.
We firmly believe that education serves as a crucial cornerstone for the nation's long-term development. Hong Kong and the mainland each possess unique strengths in educational resources and professional expertise. By continuing to deepen our collaborative exchanges, we are confident that we can achieve greater synergies in areas such as technology education, cultural preservation, and youth development.
