Joyful Parenting Programme: “Sunshine Of My Life” Movie Appreciation Seminar
CFSS always stresses home-school collaboration. To empower parents to help their children cope with problems they would encounter during their growth, the Counselling Team of our school continues to launch the “Joyful Parenting Programme” in this school year. The “Sunshine Of My Life Movie Appreciation Seminar” kicked off the Programme in the morning of 8 Oct 2022 (Sat), attracting altogether 93 student, parent and teacher audience in a reserved theatre.
This movie is adapted from the director's own family story. The story is about how a teenager’s love-hate relationship with her blind parents.
In the post-screening sharing session, Principal Ho Tik Shun, the PTA member Mr. Shiu Ka Lung and Ms. Leung Yue Shan, Jennifer shared their thoughts after watching the movie, urging all students to express love to their parents whole-heartedly. “The tree would like to be quiet but the wind is blowing while children would like to support but their parents are not with them any more”. Take action to love them and give them a hug!
