Joyful Parenting Programme: Parenting and Money
We believe that life-long learning can help parents master parenting skills and self-improvement. In view of this, the school is organizing " Joyful Parenting Programme 2021-2022". Through a series of talks and workshops in different themes, parents will be equipped with positive parenting skills which empower them to cope with different challenges in establishing harmonious parent-child relationship. Parents who join this Programme will be rewarded with a certificate at the end of the school year.
The third Parents’ Talk with the theme “Parenting and Money” was successfully conducted online via Microsoft Teams videotelephony platform on 22 April 2022 (Friday). A few financial advisors from OCBC Wing Hang Bank gave a fascinating talk to the participating parents and shared useful tips on financial management, including installment saving, plans of Education Fund for kids and the underlying principles of some investment tools. Suitably practicing financial management theories can also help establish better parent-children communication and instill children appropriately with values education. More than 40 parents joined the talk that night. Many parents showed their support by giving prompt responses in the interactions with the financial advisors.
The fourth Parent’s talk themed Love defined by teenagers will be held on 6/5/2022 (Friday). Parents who are interested in the talk please fill in the Google Form (https://forms.gle/RmxqYHeHWj6Zm2sm7) with their parent’s school webmail account (p2020xxxx@cfss.edu.hk).
