Visit to Hangzhou Foreign Language School
A delegation of CFSS consisting of Principal Mr. Ho Tik Shun, consultant Principal Mr. So Yui Hung, Mr. William Du, Assistant Principals Mr. Lam Chi Wai Jimmy, Mr. Ho Chun Man, Ms. Hsu Yuk Fan, Head of Sustainable Development Team Mr. Tong Man Chung Jacky and Development & Events Officer Dr. Chung Fiona paid a warm visit to Hangzhou Foreign Language School on 13 June 2023. We are truly thankful for the warm hospitality by School Principal Wang Hua-qi and the team including Mr. Zhang Junfeng, Mr. Weng Chen Ming and Mr. Zhou Huawei.
By visiting different corners in the campus, including the administrative building, academic building, pavilions and canteen, our team acquired the strategies to boost the atmosphere of language learning in campus. Only by adhering to the four rules of thumb- reading phrase-based vocabulary, writing on regular basis, listening to speeches from native speakers and speaking with proactive attitude will your language proficiency improve. Together with a positive language learning environment, continuous learning could be fostered. On top of the tour, by exchanging teaching experiences and sharing vision and mission in education among teaching team, we also acquired the effect of teaching mode and learning outcomes on bridging students’ learning diversity.
Our trip would be extended by continuing to exchange and deepening our philosophies in education by different means. We look forward to meeting the Principal, teachers and students from Hangzhou Foreign Language School in Hong Kong in the near future. Let us join hands to equip students with the skills they need in the 21st century.
