“One Day Teacher” Volunteer Service

In order to promote a sense of worthiness among the elderly, our school, Our Hands Farm cooperated with Harmony Garden Lutheran Centre for the Elderly. Some Senior Form students collaborated with the elderly to present the Chinese articles from HKDSE syllabus in the form of recitation, singing, and instrumental performances. They performed for the Secondary 1 and Secondary 2 students on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival so as to build up a sense of competence and identity of the elderly as well as promote the Chinese culture to the students. The senior form students who participated in the program not only developed their strengths, but also had fun with the elderly.
