Visiting People's Liberation Army of China Assault Ship
The Hainan Amphibious Assault Ship (hull number 31) is the first of its kind in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy. This vessel boasts an array of advanced firepower systems, including autonomous missiles for independent defense and counterattacks, close-in defense guns, and a versatile flight deck capable of accommodating various types of helicopters, tank landing craft, and air-cushion landing craft. The event aims to showcase the impressive strides made in national defense and military construction during this new era, highlighting the unwavering determination and robust capabilities of the PLA in safeguarding national security.
On Sunday, November 24, 2024, a group of 31 teachers, students, and parents from CFSS had the honor of touring the Hainan Amphibious Assault Ship. This visit provided a unique opportunity for attendees to gain insights into the rapid military development of our nation in recent years. Beyond enhancing their understanding of military security, students also collected a variety of naval seals and badges during the tour.
