Visit to the Exhibition on Shanghai Expo 2010 in Hong Kong

In order to widen students’ horizons and to equip students for the NSS Curriculum to be implemented next school year, the Department of Liberal Studies organized a visit to the Exhibition on Shanghai Expo 2010 in Hong Kong on 17 October 2008 for S.3 students. As the exhibition was held in the Central Police Station Compound, the activity can enrich students with knowledge about Shanghai Expo, as well as interest on historical monuments in Hong Kong.
 

  • Students paying attention to the instructions briefed by the volunteer guide at the venue

  • Students amazed at the model of the buildings to be built in Shanghai for the Expo

  • Students visiting the “Hong Kong Exhibition Section”, the theme of which being the use of smart cards in daily life

  • Students using the Q-code cards as the key to access interactive exhibits

  • Students looking at those “new” inventions exhibited in the Expo in the 19th century

  • Students taking group photo with the mascot of the 2010 Shanghai Expo, Haibao
