DeepSeek Software Leads a New Era of A.I. in Sports
At the start of the Year of the Snake, DeepSeek software made a thunderous debut, captivating the world and marking the arrival of an era where A.I. is integrated into sports. With DeepSeek's development costs being only 10% of those for ChatGPT, the future of A.I. development and research is set to become significantly more affordable, allowing everyone easy access to A.I. technology.
This trend has caught the attention of three high schools (The Chinese Foundation Secondary School, G.T. (Ellen Yeung) College and Buddhist Yip Kei Nam Memorial College), which have decided to collaborate in creating the A.I. Sports Academy (AISA). The academy aims to inject innovative thinking and technology into sports, inspiring both academia and students to explore and apply A.I., starting with the emerging sport of pickleball as a gateway to the expansive possibilities of A.I. This initiative is complemented by massive data collection and analysis, along with appropriate sports training, to provide data-driven training arrangements at a high quality and low cost, enabling young athletes to be deployed with more precision and thoughtfulness.
Development Directions
