Disney’s World of Physics

In order to enhance students’ understanding of Physics and widen their horizons, two groups of Science students were led to the Disney’s World of Physics, one of the Disney Youth Education Series offered by Hong Kong Disneyland. The programme, held on 26th June, 2011, was sponsored by Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.

 

Under the guidance of two facilitators, the students revised the concepts of Newton’s laws, fluid mechanics, electro-magnetic wave, sound wave, etc. The principles were incorporated into interactive demonstrations and experiments. Students were enlightened with different games and shows, such as Space Mountain, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, BuzzzLightyear Astro Blasters and Orbitro. All students found the programme informative, useful and fun.
