Leadership Seminar III - A talk with Miss Tanya Chan Suk Chong
On 20th May, Miss Tanya Chan was invited to give her talk at our school. She shared her experience in delivering speeches with our Leaders of Tomorrow and Prefect Leaders.
Miss Tanya Chan is a Legislative Councillor, barrister, as well as part-time drama actress. She met Ms Audrey Eu, the founding party leader of the Civic Party, at a performance. Followed by occasional meetings, Miss Tanya Chan joined Ms Eu and started exploration in politics.
In the talk, she emphasized that respecting the audience was essential to any speakers. Their attitude must be sincere as well. She also showed her brilliant drama talents during the talk. Our students from the Leaders of Tomorrow actively participated and enjoyed it a lot. We learned the correct attitude in delivering speeches and the corresponding techniques.
