CFSS Pre-S.1 Interdisciplinary Experiential Learning Programme 2
Our second Pre-S.1 Interdisciplinary Experiential Learning Programme, with the theme on performing arts, was launched on 19 May (Sat). The morning section was about Visual Arts. Pre-S.1 students tried different kinds of art media, such as ceramic, twisting balloons, red packet and fashion design in School Hall and Visual Art Room.
The afternoon section was about music and dance. Students played different kinds of Chinese and Western musical instruments. Firstly, instructors and students demonstrated to pre-S.1 students and taught them how to play. Students experienced some special instruments, such as Yangqin, Bassoon and Euphonium and played together with their schoolmates.
As for dance, Mr. Cho, our Geography teacher, and 7 students led all the pre-S.1 students to practise some basic steps of a pop song. Every student paid their effort. They experienced the fun of dance, team building and creativity.
