How much fun can you have from CFSS?
Like never before, the English Fun Activities Day kicked off to a brilliant start with all our vibrant and energetic young participants from the Shanghai Alumni Primary School ready and steady to set the ball rolling.
Several fun-filled, laugh-your-heads-off activities were carefully crafted by the English Society for the day.
First, was the Worda-thlon! As a warm-up game, it awakened our young guests who had had to arrive here so early in the morning on a Saturday – without any perturbation written on their faces though – the Worda-thlon actually set the scene and got our young participants all geared up for the rest of the morning.
As the day unfolded and the games rolled by, the Talk-Your-Heads-Off game got all the children very engaged and chatty, much to our and their teachers’ surprise. By now fully awakened and hungry for more games, the Get It Right, the Ratatouille and the Interactive View and Quiz games were all more than welcome for our young guests.
A little chat with the teachers who accompanied the kids revealed the games were up to standard, engaging and interesting for them – it was exhilarating to see the usually shy and timid tots become chatterboxes in the twinkle of an eye.
The day eventually ended with a bounteous harvest of stationery – writing pads, folders, pens, pencils to name some, and loads of goodies for each participant; not to mention the hilarious laughs and the budding friendships that made it all worth the while.
