Project Title: ValueHunt
Applicants: Chan Cheyenne Dominique Chong, Chung Hiu Yu, Lung Cheuk Kwan, Wong Ho Yan Veronica
ValueHunt is a platform for people to have fun and help more people at the same time. You can track down checkpoints and missions by using QR codes and google maps. This project developed webs, iOS and Android as the platforms. People can donate money to motivate and support participants if they wish. The money will be directly transferred to the charities, thereby minimizing the administrative burden and costs significantly. The donations will benefit a lot of people in need and enhance philanthropy.

Project Title: Team Colour
Applicants: Lau Cheuk Nam, Fung Hing Lun, Lee Ho Ching, Law Kee Yau
Colourblind people have difficulties in daily life. For example, they cannot distinguish between red and green peppers, or black and red grapes. The project is developed to help colourblind people to quickly identify colours and minimize their diversity with people with normal eye-sight. They can understand the world better with such limitation. Our work is an iOS application. It uses a camera to capture real-time images and analyze the areas in red or green in mesh pattern. The phone screen will clearly show the processed images, which use a Chroma key (blue screen of similar technology), "OpenGL ES 2.0" and "GPU" module to write programs.
