CFSS Pre-S.1 Interdisciplinary Experiential Learning Programme – Visual Arts and Performing Arts
In the morning session on 24th May, about 140 pre-S.1 students participated in the Pre-S.1 Experiential Learning Day – Visual Arts. In order to let a large group of participants to experience various art forms and media, four distinct activities were held in both the School Hall and the Visual Arts Room. Paper-cut, Drawing, Bracelet Making and Ceramics were held on that day. The pre-S.1 students participated in various activities to create their art work based on the theme “Nature” under the guidance of some senior students. Outstanding artworks were chosen at the end of each session. It was even more exciting to have our Principal, Mr. Au, to present prizes to the top 4 students! In the afternoon session, they were also invited in the Performing Arts. It included Music performance and demonstration of various dances. The students were divided into five groups, with each group going to different classrooms to appreciate dance and musical performances. Not only could they interact with the senior students about the secondary school life, but they could also try out some of the Chinese and western musical instruments used in School Orchestra and Chinese Orchestra. |
