CFSS Students Shone in Solar Model Car Competition
Five S.2 students participated in the Hong Kong Technology & Renewable Energy Events 2014 – First Sector – Solar Model Car Competition. They grabbed the First and the Second Grand Awards of the Best Design for Environmental-friendliness and Outlook.
The competition aims at promoting the application of renewable energy. Students explored new ways of applying solar power and their science knowledge to maximize energy output. They demonstrated team cooperation throughout the process by taking initiative in designing, selecting building materials and assembling.
Although losing the road race, the students were enthusiastic in debriefing and gained a lot in the process. Much to their surprise, they were awarded the two respectable awards.
