CFSS Students Were Invited to Perform "Improvisational Theatre" in Public Health Talk
Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital Community Psychiatric Nursing Services Centre and Hong Kong East Cluster of Hospital Authority co-organized a talk on mental healthcare in the Lecture Hall of the Hong Kong Central Library. The Social Service Group of our school was honoured to be invited to participate in the “improvisational theatre” session of the talk, arousing public awareness of mental health. Through improvisational theatre, students focused on the needs of the patients with early psychosis, postnatal depression and dementia, and how the community could help them and their families. Our students had attended a year-round training before, and hoped their dedicated performance could let the society show more concerns to their needs.
