CFSS Students Selected as Hong Kong Representatives for the Caretakers of the Environment International (CEI) Conference 2016 in Denmark

Four CFSS students were selected to participate in an international conference in Denmark as Hong Kong representatives from late June to early July 2016.

In the conference, delegates from over the world shared their own successful and innovative projects on promoting sustainable development. Our students proudly presented their project, “Ways to Promote Sustainable Mental Wellness among Hong Kong Teenagers”. In the preparation work, our students fully demonstrated self-directed learning and research skills. Moreover, they had deeper understanding on various environmental problems in other places and were committed to contribute not only to the society but also the world as global citizens.

In addition, our students actively promoted Hong Kong culture in a series of cultural exchange activities, such as the “Food and Fun Market” and the “Cultural Night”.

Being the Hong Kong representatives in the CEI conference and also the winner of the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) learning program, our students were invited by UNESCO (HK) to share their extraordinary experience in Charles. K. K. Auditorium, Hong Kong Science Park on 8 October 2016.
