CFSS Pre-S.1 Interdisciplinary Experiential Learning Programme – Science-related Subjects
To allow our pre-S.1 students to know more about our School, a series of Pre-S.1 Interdisciplinary Experiential Learning Programmes started on 6th May, 2017 (Sat). The Programme in the morning centred on Science, Mathematics and Astronomy while that in the afternoon focused on Information & Communication Technology and Robotics. The Programme received high praise from all 120 participating pre-S.1 students. In the morning, they gained the precious experience of entering the Science & Sustainable Development Resource Centre, Hall of Fame and Science laboratories. Through a variety of workshops, experiments and demonstrations, they experienced creativity education and realized the essence of our School's junior-form school-based curriculum. In the afternoon, students manipulate robots using computer programming. Robotic Challenge took place amongst groups after short lectures and discussions.
