18th Annual Sports Athletic Meet (11th and 18th May, 2018)

Sports plays a crucial role in life especially for every school-age child. It does not only enhance their physical activity but also increases self-esteem and mental strength. The 18th Annual Athletic Meet was successfully held in Siu Sai Wan Sport Ground on 11th May (Heats) and 18th May (Final) 2018 for S1 to S5 students. Our School Principal, Mr. K.W. Au declared the Meet open and took salute from athletes of the four competing Houses (Red, Orange, Yellow and Green), as they marched past the tracks with their respective flags held high.  One of the highlights of the Athletic Meet was the Cheering Competitions by four competing Houses, showing students’ excellent co-ordination and collaboration, gymnastics skills and great sense of belonging to their Houses. Individual track events included 00m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m races while field events included long jump, high jump, triple jump, shot put, discus and javelin. Moreover, there were Inter-House 4X100m and 4X400m relays and Inter-Club 4X100m relay. At the closing ceremony, Mr. Au congratulated all the winners and announced that 9 new records were unprecedentedly set.
