CFSS Teachers and Students Attending InnoGala 2023
InnoGala 2023, organized by The Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council, was held on October 13 and 14, 2023 at St. Paul's Convent School (Secondary Section). The booth of our school was themed "Promoting Aerospace Technology and Sustainable Development to Equip Students to Meet Aerospace Milestones". Students showgamed the games they designed during this event:
1. Football robot - simulating the a robot completing an aerospace mission, while the astronauts are inside a space capsule to control the robot remotely
2. VR game - enabling members of the public to understand the space environment
3. Muscle and hand-eye coordination game - allowing astronauts to exercise muscles in the absence of gravity in space
4. Green Guru and 4D-Frame Exhibition
Our school's booth exhibitions were highly welcomed by the public (children in particular). Not only is this an experiential activity to popularize STREAM education, but also a golden opportunity for students to develop their confidence and oral speaking skills. In the end, we received a Bronze Award in this event.
