Wife Cake Workshop at CFSS Smart Kitchen
This year the theme for the celebration of the World Book Day was, “Intangible cultural heritage in Hong Kong.” As part of the Chinese culture, it is crucial to promote the local intangible cultural heritage among our students through various activities.
As an extended activity for the thematic book exhibition on the theme, the hands-on workshop of wife cake was chosen from the intangible cultural heritage items to experience by our students.
We were honored to invite the reporter of this intangible cultural heritage item, Master Man Fu On and his apprentice taught and shared the skills and stories with our students.
