Language Learning, Cultural Exposure, Presentation Skills All-in-one: World Music Fiesta

Co-organised by Economic Times and English Street, the annual carnival is for promoting cultural awareness while getting students to use English in an authentic setting. Our S.5 team consisting of five members has successfully beaten 200 other teams all over Hong Kong in two rounds of screening, and won the opportunity to show their enthusiasm and excellence in the carnival. Our team picked the theme of French Music and has prepared a number of informative presentations to share with guests. They played a few melodic French tunes professionally. They practised hard for the English speeches and made a good deal of effort in preparing the booth. This must be a memorable experience for them.
