| A capella Workshop by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) | |

On 29 March 2012, our School joined an A capella workshop held by HKFYG. Tufts Beelzebubs was invited as our guest performer. Firstly, Tufts Beelzebubs performed two songs to kick off the show. Then, they introduced the principle of A capalle and taught our students to sing their songs. All students enjoyed very much and experienced a capalle in a new perspective. (29-Mar-12) |

| Actively Preserving Chinese Culture – Tasting Chinese Traditional Folk Snacks | |
|
Our Cultural Programme 2011-2012 helps students understand more about the culture in their daily life. In late February, it introduced the history, meaning and recipes of several Chinese folk snacks to our students. Dumpling, Dragon's beard candy and Tanghulu were chosen as notable examples. After listening to the presentation, students had a chance to taste some of these folk snacks. They enjoyed very much. (27~29-Feb-12) |

| Opera Seminar by Young Friends of Hong Kong Arts Festival in CFSS | |
|
On 2 February, 2012, the guests from Young Friends of Hong Kong Arts Festival introduced the Western opera to our students. This seminar not only enlightened our students to the traditional opera, but also shed light on the opera in our daily life such as TV commercials and pop singing contests. In addition, our guests performed several famous operas and duets. Students enjoyed a lot and gained an initial understanding of operas. (01-Feb-12) |
